Our project empowers young people, educational trainers and institutions to actively and democratically shape the digital transformation.

Digital Readiness
We support professionals in non-formal youth education with practical materials, a toolbox, a blended-learning course, and targeted training. These offerings enable them to develop learning formats that both highlight the impact of AI on democratic processes and utilize AI as a helpful tool in everyday learning.

Resilience
Since many people struggle to recognize AI-generated content, our training programs and youth initiatives teach strategies for safe and reflective engagement with digital media. This strengthens the ability to identify disinformation and use AI competently and responsibly.

Engagement & Participation
Disadvantaged youth are supported in building digital competencies as a foundation for social and political participation. They learn to critically examine the opportunities and risks of AI and actively use digital tools for their own engagement and participation in democratic processes.

Capacity Building for Digital Transformation
The developed materials and training programs are permanently integrated into the work of partner institutions, enhancing the quality and appeal of their offerings. Additionally, other non-formal youth education institutions benefit, as they can freely use these resources to strengthen their ability to competently shape digital transformation.

Strengthening Shared Values
In the digital space—particularly through AI—core European values such as tolerance, equality, and non-discrimination are increasingly under pressure. Our project uses these values as guiding principles: All learning offerings promote exchange, reflection, and collaborative learning. This strengthens a European consciousness, encourages international exchange, and fosters active democratic participation.
